Christ Is Risen Tabletop Display Embroidery Class

Easter is a time to rejoice and be thankful for the gifts of life, love and joy. Celebrate Christ's resurrection with this 'Made in the Hoop' display that features bold satin stitch lettering and appliques of the symbols of Easter.

 Join us March 14th  2025at 9:30 A.M. Were we will be stitching out this lovely Christ is Risen table topper. Perfect for the Easter Season.  

Class Cost will be $29.00 plus supplies. The Design CD will be included with class purchase.

Supply List:

We do encourage that the materials be precut before class begins.

·         Embroidery machine, with hoop that is 5.75x 8 or larger.

·         Embroidery Tape

·         Trimming scissors for appliques

·         Nonstick pressing sheet (like the Angela sheet)

·         Trip tic wire tri stand (size 4x9)

·         (3) Pieces of tearaway stabilizer large enough to fit your hoop. (Can be sticky, fusible, or standard.)

·         Turning tool

·         Hot ruler (not required but suggested)

·         Your Choice of starch or starch alternative (such as best press or terial magic)

·         (1) yard of ½” or ¼” double sided fusible seam tape preferably with one side that is also sticky (we used lite steam a seam 2 tape ¼”)

·         1/3-yard background fabric cut (3) 5x9 and (6) 5x5

·         USB to put design on machine day of class.

·         1/3 yard of ½” or 5/8” gross grain ribbon.

·         ¼ yard of double-sided fusible fleece. Cut (6) 4 1/8 x 7 1/2.

·         Applique fabrics can be in whatever color you like we used yellow for the sun and white for all others.  Lily- 2 ½ x 2 ¾, Dove- 4 x 3 ½, Cross- 2 ½ x 4, Sun- 3 x 2 ½.  (We suggest that you cut your favorite fusible interfacing to the size of all appliques and press them to the back. Such as PELLON SF101. This step is not required.)

·         (3) filled embroidery bobbins

·         Several spools of thread. We used black, white, purple, light yellow, gold, buff, very light tan, blue, brown, dark green, and medium green.
