Two-day class

Cost: $35.00 covers both days of class and the design files with instructions

When: Friday & Saturday March 27^th & 28^th 2026

This design is by Hoop Sisters and always includes background quilting.

This project features 3 different main blocks all about early Springs April Showers. An umbrella, a rain jacket, and a bouquet of flowers.  The quilting is done in rain drops which completes the theme.  Designs are available in both 5” &8” sizes.

Supplies:

·         Embroidery machine with hoop for the size of block you wish to make.

·         Embroidery thread to match or contrast fabrics, and 2 or more rewound embroidery bobbins.

·         Mono poly thread to attach the back at the end.

·         Sewing thread to match the fabric you choose to bind and back the project with.

·         Scissors for trimming.

·         Rotary cutter and ruler for trimming finished squares and for cutting fabric.

·         Optional vanish lite thread

·         1 yard fabric for backing and borders. (2 yards if you make it larger)

·         ¼ of a yard of fabric for binding

·         Fat quarter for the background

·         4 fat quarter in different colors for the appliques or large pieces or scrap.

·         Mesh stabilizer (if possible, bring a roll and we will cut as needed)

·         Batting (3) or more pieces cut 8x8/ (4) or more pieces cut 4x4/ 8 or more pieces cut 4x8. You will only need more if you decide to make the project larger.
